There's a good chance you'll need a driving record if you're going to take a defensive driving class. In fact, most courts require you to have two (2) important State documents to dismiss your traffic ticket.

The first document is the Certificate of Completion you'll receive after taking 6HourDefensiveDriving.com.

The second document is a certified driving record issued by the State of Texas. You could contact the State directly to get this document, but it may take weeks before you get it. When 6HourDefensiveDriving.com orders it for you, however, it will take just 7-10 business days, and will be delivered about the same time as your defensive driving certificate of completion.
